INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY EVENT

"It's not enough to have lived. We should be determined to live for something. May I suggest that it be
creating joy for others, sharing what we have for the betterment of person kind, bringing hope to the lost
and love to the lonely."
Leo Buscaglia
WBN WOMEN ROLL UP THEIR SLEEVES
FOR THE HOMELESS

There will be twenty-five women from WBN going to the
Shepherds of Good Hope kitchen to help feed the homeless in
support of International Women’s Day on March 9, 2008.
Support this initiative. Register today!
A small cost of $10.00 and you get to wear—and keep
the burgundy apron with the WBN logo.
WHY?
1. We are a group of successful women
who stand for a variety of values
including care of our community.
2. Many women are homeless in our
streets. These are our sisters who have
fallen on very hard times.
3. The International Women’s Day is
an annual occurrence when hundreds
of events around the world converge to celebrate women’s advancement and
the collective power of women past, present and future.
4. We are the fortunate and we can.
